In 2011, 750 children from three remote schools in Sichuan province which were rebuilt by the Jet Li One Foundation after the earthquake received training and book donations. The Greenovate association provided the training in Chinese.

For the 1st anniversary of the Albatross, a free distribution of children's books on the back of Yacks was organized in collaboration with the Harvard Societal Serve program under the chairmanship of Theresita Alvarez (President of HLSA).
The Albatross Foundation team organized a special training on the green curriculum. Volunteers have been trained on environmental and sustainable development issues. When training concluded, each volunteer received a Green Trainer diploma, printed on stone paper and decay-resistant.
The gold of this celebration, sponsored by Songtsam Retreat, AccorGroup, thedrunkal Albatross and thepapeterie were given to the orphans of Tendol Gyalzur and the children of the village of Kena in Shangri-la, Yunnan.
This is a non-profit charity dedicated to helping poor children in rural China. With its village library program, Pass Love has established village libraries in 9 provinces. The library program has now covered more than 45 elementary schools with continuous expansion.
Shanghai Roots and Shoots is a non-profit organization committed to understanding and preserving wildlife. To improve environmental conditions in the deserted lands of Inner Mongolia, the Albatross Foundation is participating in the Million Tree Project initiated by Shanghai Roots and Shoots, donating and planting trees through DPT.
